Jenifer Deziel

I was born and raised in northern Wisconsin, graduating from high school in 1979, and from an associate degree nursing program in 1985. In Wisconsin, I worked for many years as an RN, particularly in emergency rooms, but also in many other various clinical settings. I married and raised five children in Wisconsin and Minnesota. After divorcing, and with all of my children doing well, I returned to college, and attended graduate school at The University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, graduating as a family nurse practitioner in the spring of 2012. I worked until 2020 as a hospitalist in critical access hospitals in South Dakota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

Along with Kevin, my partner, who suffers from a progressive neurological disorder, I relocated to New Mexico in 2020. I look forward to this new career opportunity working with others suffering from both acute and chronic issues, while also being able to spend more time at home with my significant other. I enjoy spending time with my five adult children, who currently reside in five different states, as well as my three grandchildren, who I don't get to spoil nearly as often as I'd like!
